Pan India Immunization Program
In India more than two million children die every year from preventable infectious diseases. They continue to lose their lives to vaccine-preventable diseases such as measles, which remains the biggest killer.

Max India Foundation with the mission to improve children’s health through better access to Immunization, partners with local NGOs reaching out to underprivileged in remotest areas for providing comprehensive cover to children between 0-12 years of age against deadly diseases (BCG, DPT, MMR, Measles, Hepatitis B and Typhoid).

We have also started with our Vitamin A program in partnership with Vitamin Angels for 0-5 years of children. It is a special initiative where employees from Max Life Insurance Co. Ltd. volunteer for the program.

The program was launched on 12th July 2008. To date, we have benefitted about 20701 children in 85 locations. Various health awareness initiatives are also covered in the program.

Our plan is to spread this program to many more locations. For this we require support of grass root level NGOs directly working with underprivileged children.

ROLE OF NGO:
